Day 19: A Roundup of Great Sites

On Day 19 my blog highlighted three groups of fascinating people who lived in the 19th and 20th centuries. I have discovered several blogs which added to my knowledge of those people.

mandrillandmongoose (subtitled Also Known as Virginia and Leonard Woolf)is a superb blog on Virginia Woolf. When I have time I intend to read his entire set of posts. He covers her literary output, friends, life, anything you wish to know about Bloomsbury.

The Charleston Attic concentrates on the paintings of Vanessa Bell, Virginia’s sister.  Good reading.

The Electric Light Company offers an excellent post on Foger Fry of the Bloomsbury group.

Byron, Shelley
Byron, Shelley

The Writings of Percy Bysshe Shelley is a comprehensive look at, of couse, Percy Bysshe Shelley. Another site I must explore in more detail.

We find an excellent review of Megan Marshall’s biography The Peabody Sisters on Imperfect Happiness

There is such a mass of knowledge to be gained from blogs.

Can’t wait to read more.
